Tracking applications in Luceria

How the free tracker's board and funnel work, which stages to use, what to update after each event and how sharing your funnel image works.

The board and the funnel

The board shows every application as a card grouped by stage, so you can see at a glance what needs attention. The funnel is a Sankey diagram of the whole search: how many applications started, how many reached each stage and where they dropped off.

Together they answer two different questions. The board tells you what to do today; the funnel tells you which part of your approach to change.

Reading the funnel

What a drop-off at each stage usually suggests
Where applications stopWhat it often points to
Between saved and appliedToo many roles saved; choose fewer and finish them
Between applied and any responseTargeting or the resume; check fit and tailoring
At assessmentTest or task preparation
At interviewInterview preparation and examples

What to update after each event

Keep the tracker accurate

  • Submitted: move to applied, add the date and the version of the resume you sent.
  • Invited to a test or interview: move the card and add the date and format.
  • Followed up: note the date so you know when the next follow-up is due.
  • Rejected or withdrawn: close it, so the funnel stays honest.
  • Offer: record the terms you were given and your deadline to reply.

Illustrative example

One application over three weeks

  • Week 1: saved from Jobs, workflow created, tailored resume sent; moved to applied.
  • Week 2: no reply; follow-up sent and noted on the card.
  • Week 3: invited to a video interview; moved to interview with the date and panel names.

Privacy and sharing

Your tracker is private to your account. If you want to show your progress, you can download the funnel as an image and share it yourself; nothing is shared unless you choose to.

The tracker is free with an account for an ordinary personal job search. A record ceiling exists only to prevent storage abuse; it is not a paid gate, and an ordinary search does not reach it.

Common questions

Do applications from workflows appear in the tracker automatically?

Applications you take through a Luceria workflow are added to the tracker, so you do not have to enter them twice; anything else can be added by hand.

Can I still use a spreadsheet?

Yes. The free spreadsheet template works well on its own; the tracker adds the funnel view and the links to your documents and workflows.
