LUCERIA
ATS check

Check how clearly your CV matches a specific role

Luceria's ATS check compares the CV and job description supplied by the user. It reviews evidence coverage, relevant terminology, readable structure and common parsing risks, then prioritises improvements.

What this feature does not claim

The result is a compatibility estimate, not an employer score. Luceria cannot see a company's private applicant tracking system, ranking rules or hiring decision.

What does an ATS check actually measure?

Applicant tracking systems help employers collect and organise applications. Their configuration varies. Luceria therefore does not claim to reproduce a private employer system; it checks the practical things an applicant can control.

Those checks include whether important role requirements are supported by evidence, whether relevant terms appear naturally, whether sections are recognisable and whether formatting is likely to survive text extraction. The score summarises the review, while the reasons show what to change.

Why is keyword matching only part of the answer?

A CV containing every noun from a vacancy can still be weak. Recruiters need evidence: what the person did, the conditions they handled and the result or responsibility involved. Luceria separates useful role language from words that would be dishonest or meaningless to add.

Common words, employer branding and accidental fragments should not become a keyword checklist. Strong terms are connected to real experience in a profile, skills section or bullet where they make sense.

How should an ATS score be used?

Use the score to locate avoidable gaps, not to decide a person's worth. A career changer may begin with unfamiliar vocabulary but possess strong transferable evidence. Conversely, a CV can repeat the right words while missing a mandatory qualification.

The most useful action is to read the explanation beside each component, make truthful edits and recheck the document. The aim is a clearer application, not a perfect number.

Questions about ATS check

Can Luceria see the employer's ATS?

No. It checks common compatibility factors using the CV and job description supplied; private employer rules are not visible.

Is a higher score a job guarantee?

No. It indicates a clearer match on the measured factors, not an interview or hiring outcome.

Should every missing keyword be added?

No. Add a term only when the user's real experience supports it and it improves clarity.

Can a career changer still score well?

Yes, when transferable evidence is expressed clearly. Genuine hard requirements should still be treated as constraints.
