Fit Check

Assess fit without treating a career as a fixed label

Fit Check reviews how clearly the current evidence supports a target role. It treats suitability as something that can often be presented more clearly, while preserving genuine hard requirements.

What this feature does not claim

Fit Check is not an employer decision and does not determine who is capable. It cannot turn an absent mandatory licence, legal entitlement or required qualification into a match.

Why is suitability often a presentation problem?

Job titles hide a great deal of transferable work. A theatre worker may have experience staying composed in tense environments; an administrator may have practised accurate decisions, confidentiality and incident recording; a long commute may have required reliable planning and contingency management.

Those facts do not need to be exaggerated. They need to be connected to the role's real demands. Fit Check looks for the evidence and the language needed to make that connection visible.

What are hard requirements and how are they treated?

Some requirements are not a framing exercise. A statutory licence, legal right to work, essential professional registration or explicitly mandatory qualification may be a real eligibility boundary.

Luceria should identify those separately from preferences and transferable capabilities. A strong pitch can improve how evidence is understood; it should not tell someone to misstate a hard requirement.

How should the fit score guide an application?

Read the explanation behind the number. Suitability, keywords, parseability and formatting answer different questions and carry different weight. A low keyword result may be fixable with accurate terminology, while a missing hard requirement may not be.

The score is most useful as a preparation map: what evidence to surface, what language to clarify and what gap to investigate before committing time.

Questions about Fit Check

Does Fit Check decide whether I am suitable?

No. It reviews the evidence and role text available; it does not make an employer's decision.

Can transferable experience improve the result?

Yes, when the connection is genuine and explained clearly.

Will Fit Check ignore mandatory requirements?

No. Genuine licences, legal entitlements and mandatory qualifications should be shown as hard gaps.

Why can the keyword score be lower than suitability?

The CV may contain relevant evidence in different language. Tailoring can often improve terminology without changing the underlying facts.
