Check a US resume for ATS compatibility

Luceria's ATS resume check compares the resume and job description supplied by the user. It provides a compatibility estimate and reasons, not an employer's private score.

Read the UK/global version

What does the ATS resume check measure?

The check reviews whether key requirements have supported evidence, whether relevant terms appear naturally, whether sections are recognizable and whether the document extracts into coherent text.

It cannot see a company's private ATS configuration, knockout questions or recruiter decisions. The number summarizes Luceria's defined checks only.

How should resume keywords be assessed?

A useful keyword is tied to real experience and important to the work. Employer slogans, incidental words and requirements the applicant does not meet should not be copied into a skills list.

The evidence around a term matters more than repetition. A bullet that explains responsibility is stronger than a page containing the same noun many times.

What should happen after the check?

Fix readability problems, clarify supported evidence and add accurate role language. Then rerun the structural check and review the actual exported resume.

Do not chase a perfect number. Genuine mandatory gaps remain more important than cosmetic keyword changes.

Common questions

Is the Luceria score the same score an employer sees?

No. It is a preparation estimate based on the supplied resume and job.

Can an ATS reject my resume automatically?

An employer may configure screening rules, but processes vary and applicants cannot see most private settings.

Should every job keyword appear?

No. Include important terms only where real evidence supports them.

Can I recheck after editing?

Yes. Structural rechecks help confirm that the revised document remains readable.
